Move For Hunger
May 2017 - August 2017
Move For Hunger is a nonprofit that partners with moving companies and communities to reduce food waste and fight hunger by delivering donated food to local food banks. During my time with the organization, I was tasked with creating content for their end of Summer hunger campaign, including social media graphics, postcards, infographics, flyers, and event materials to support local food drives.
Project Scope
Marketing Design, Social Media Branding, Illustration, Infographics
The Challenge
At Move For Hunger, I was tasked with developing a wide range of creative assets, from illustrated infographics to promotional materials for food drive events. The challenge was to bring a fresh, engaging look to recurring campaigns, especially the end of Summer hunger campaign while maintaining brand consistency. It also required me to quickly learn new processes, such as social media campaign calendar planning and designing assets for both digital and print formats.
The Solution/Final Deliverables
To meet these goals, I created a full suite of deliverables including postcards, flyers, social media graphics, business card-style promo coupons, and infographic-style pieces for the website and print. I also helped design onboarding assets for new moving company partners, making it easier for them to communicate the donation process to clients. These materials helped communicate the mission more effectively and supported multiple touchpoints—from digital outreach to physical event kits. It was a rewarding challenge that helped me grow a diverse set of design and strategic planning skills.
